What Size Violin Should I Get?
The following is a rough measurement for violin sizes. We recommend the use of “arm length” rather than “age” to determine the size of the violin.

All you need to do is measure the length of your child’s left arm from arm pit to the tip of the middle finger, then use the table below to find the size of violin your child needs.

–38cm you need 1/16 size
–42cm you need 1/8 size
–47cm you need 1/4 size
–50cm you need 1/2 size
–56cm you need 3/4 size
–58cm you need 4/4 full size
